About Joey

Straight outa Colorado, now residing in Nashville, country singer songwriter Joey Dee's brand of country music pays tribute to America and the icons of country music. His music touches the heart with his newly released debut single "13 Folds" paying tribute to America's fallen heroes.

"I was raised on outlaw country, I grew up listening to Waylon, Charlie Daniels, David Allen Coe, Willie, Cash and more. Dad used to stuff us in the back of his car and we would hit the road for summer vacations traveling across the country with Willie blaring out of the 6x9s."

As Joey got older he began exploring other less mainstream music genres and spent some time dabbling in punk and rockabilly. "I found the songs I was writing in these genre's had a lot of outlaw country influences, but for me those songs never really told a story". Joey had to come full circle , back to his roots to find the honest story telling of the great American outlaw country songs.
